Project 1: Journey for the 5 senses
In this project, we are required to form a five person group to do two precedent studies. Besides that, we also need to choose a poem from the five given and analyse it for a concentric and a linear design. For first part of this project which is precedent study, we need to state and describe the spatial typologies applied in the design. Besides that, the explanation of the space been organised and how it related to the typologies.

Precedent study of the linear building- Jewish Museum |
For the part two, we have chosen the poem "Tales of Two Cities". We analyse it and then discuss about the design which express the feeling of what we get from the poem in a building. From those information we gather, we finally come out with two design on the concentric and linear building respectively.

Through this project, I have learnt how to analyse a poem and translate the poetic feeling into a design. beside that, I also learnt that how important the five senses affect the building design. Besides, it also help me to learn how to create tectonic expressions of different spatial typologies which impact on the uses and experiential conditions of space.
Project 2: Genius Loci: Site Analysis & Concept Development
With the same group in project one, we have done a site analysis at Labrador Nature Reserve, Singapore when we pay a visit to Singapore. We need to gather some information from that site in order to proceed to the design phase. From the micro site given, we have choose the site abandon restaurant as our site analysis area.
Here is the site analysis
From this site analysis task, I have learnt how to cooperate with the others in order to achieve a huge task in a limited time. Besides that, I also enhance my observation skill through repeating the site analysis task which have been conducted since degree semester one.
For the concept development part, we are required to develop a conceptual design of a visitor interpretation centre based on what we feel and extract from the given site. We need to provide 2 a2 size of the conceptual drawing and also the basic plan, section and elevation of the conceptual design.

Conceptual Drawing 1- Past and History |
|
Conceptual Drawing 2- Present and Future |
In this project, what i summarise from the interpretation of the site is dependency. Future depends on the history to become better and brighter. The following picture is the example of my conceptual design of visitor interpretation centre.

Conceptual Design
From this project, I have learnt that how to translate the concept and idea based on what i extract from the site through some of the precedent studies that I have research on.

Project 3: Genius Loci: Visitor Interpretive Centre
In this project, we have to develop the schematic ideas that we have propose in the early project. We need to consider the flow of experience, flow of space, transition of space etc in our design. Based on the requirement, we need to produce interior perspective to illustrate the experiential spaces of your architecture.
The pictures following show the final product of my design.

Final Presentation Board
In this studio, I have learnt lots of new things in how to translate a concept and idea into a building design to make it so call as ARCHITECTURE. An architecture should contain spirit which make the visitors or users remember it. If it doesn't contain spirit or soul, it is just a common building.
